Adult Education Opportunities

Sunday Morning Adult Bible Class - Every Sunday, after the Sunday School opening (about 10:45 a.m.), Pastor teaches a Bible Study for adults. Topics range from: “What We Believe, Teach, and Confess: A Study of the Lutheran Faith” to “Denominations, Cults, and World Religions: A Study Comparing Different Beliefs” and also walking through the texts of different books of the Bible. From time to time, we will bring in special guest leaders to assist with a special topic, or we will cover short topics that are relevant to current events or the time of year. Currently, we are taking a journey through the Bible in a course called “Crossways”.

All adults are invited to join us after worship for a light-hearted time of fellowship and Bible Study. Discussion and questions are encouraged! Parents with young children (under 3) are invited to bring their children, especially if there are older children in Sunday School.

Financial Peace University (FPU)- Financial Peace University is a study created by Financial Counselor, Author, and Radio Host Dave Ramsey to help teach people the basics of money management. Although not strictly speaking a “Bible-Study”, this class is solidly rooted in the Bible as a tool to get people out of debt and living the way God intended. Classes run 13-weeks and are offered at different times throughout the year.

Small Group Bible Studies – These are specially designed group of Bible Studies in a small group format that encourage relationship building, spiritual growth, and accountability. Different groups are available. Please contact the church office for more information.

Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) – This is a group of Ladies of all ages in the congregation who gather around God’s Word in Bible Study, but also brings their pennies, nickels, and dimes together for the work of the church here and abroad to share the Good News of Jesus. LWML meets on the Second Wednesday of every month from August-May.
